As Certified Counsellors and Professional Coaches, Moving the Human Spirit is pleased to be able to offer ground breaking training with our Trauma Informed Coaching Basics (TICB) & Trauma Informed Coaching Certification (TICC). This Trauma Informed Coach training is best suited to enhance the learning of those who wish to increase their knowledge in the area of trauma - in support of themselves and/or their clients. We have designed these trainings to address the growing need for qualified Trauma Informed Coaches in the many different areas that Trauma Recovery Coaching is being used and offered. As a company, we work to provide drive and guidance to our clients so they may respond to challenges, improve relationships and live a full and rewarding life after trauma. Our focus is on changing negative conditions and creating outcomes that are measurable, generating powerful solutions in a positive environment.
The Trauma Informed Coaching Basics (TICB) is specifically designed for those interested in the basic principles required for trauma informed coaching, Credentialed ICF coaches who want to review the ICF Core Competency Model (2021) for CCEU credits, coaches with no prior knowledge of the ICF and ICF Core Competencies, various health professionals and other interested individuals who have no/limited prior coach training or experience and who are required to have TICB before enrolling in the Trauma Informed Coaching Certification (TICC).
This program is designed to introduce the concept of coaching, to learn the ICF Core Competencies Model (2021), ICF Ethical requirements and how to have a confident coaching conversation. The training will focus on what it means to be a coach, what is expected from an ICF Credentialed coach and to start to build a foundation for undertaking the coaching process. Those moving into the TICC will have a solid knowledge to better explore and apply a trauma-lens to coaching and have the opportunity of coaching practice in class and outside of class with fellow students to broaden their skill set.

If you have NO PRIOR Coach training then this course is a prerequisite to the Trauma Informed Coach Certification.
The TICB or any other *Coach Certification is a prerequisite for this course. If you are not taking Trauma Informed Coaching Basics you are required to send your Coaching Certificate along with the enrollee contract.
Being a Trauma Informed Coach Certified (TICC) offers an unique opportunity for self-awareness and to gain confidence with your ability to recognize when clients are experiencing, or have been involved with traumatic events that are impacting or preventing them from moving forward resourcefully. It enhances the learning of not only coaches, but health professionals and individuals seeking knowledge of trauma, its affects on the clients and how best to coach the processing of trauma when it presents itself. Those interested in working with trauma survivors as clients and wishing to support and coach these individuals in their recovery will benefit greatly from this training.

ICF Mentor Coaching for an ICF Credential consists of coaching and feedback in a collaborative, appreciative and dialogued process based on an observed or recorded coaching session to increase the coach’s capability in coaching, in alignment with the ICF Core Competencies.
Mentoring provides professional assistance in achieving and demonstrating the levels of coaching competency and capability demanded by the desired credential level.
We are pleased to be able to offer mentoring for your coaching accreditation at the ACC level. (the ICF web site).
The ICF Mentoring consists of 7 group sessions once a week, (reflected in course dates) and 3 one-on-one sessions determined by you and the mentor. The final 3 individual sessions are completed over a minimum of 6 and max of 12 weeks to satisfy ICF requirements.
