Nellie Choi
MDiv TICC ACC Candidate - New York, USA I am a people-first leader dedicated to conscious leadership with fifteen years of experience developing mission-driven organizations, communities, and start-ups across nonprofit and private sectors. Skillful in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and teams in innovative and fast-paced environments. As a certified trauma-informed coach, I provide an evidence-based and innovative approach to support individuals and organizations to reach their potential and reimagine thriving workplaces that practice inclusivity and creativity. I am dedicated to helping high-performing individuals overcome the challenges of generational trauma and build a legacy of resilience and empowerment. I work with a diverse range of clients, including children of immigrants and those who have experienced marginalization, to help them overcome the effects of generational trauma on their health and well-being and develop a holistic plan for personal and professional growth. My work is informed by my experiences as an interfaith chaplain, musician, operator, and strategist — a diverse background woven together with a strong thread of human connection and community. Early in my career, I was drawn to chaplaincy as a way to hold space for people in grief and trauma. As a second-generation Korean-American woman from a lineage of healers, ministers, and activists, I stand on the shoulders of my ancestors, connected by han (a distinctly Korean expression of intergenerational suffering and solidarity). This han helps me coach and lead from a deep well of passion, purpose, and empathy. Each of us is invited to be part of the tapestry of collective freedom — to create a meaningful life and legacy. Let's work together. More about me: When I’m not coaching, I’m learning the art of parenting. My anchor and greatest teachers are my children — Johannes (4) and Oscar (2). PhD, TICC, ACC - Candidate Ottawa, ON, Canada Hi, I’m Jennifer. I am a certified Trauma-informed Coach. I offer clients a warm, attentive and supportive space of non-judgment to safely explore and create new possibilities and futures that align with exactly where and who you want to be. When not working with clients in private practice, I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work at the University of Ottawa where I teach students and conduct research about intergenerational and historic trauma. As an intergenerational survivor, myself, I understand that healing and growth require respect, vulnerability, courage and compassion. These are also the four cornerstones of my practice. While I am keen on working with a wide-range of clients, my areas of special interest include working with clients who want to find and use their unique voice; who want to develop compassion in the place of shame; who want to uncover and embody their personal strengths; and who are looking to reclaim their culture. This can be some of the most rewarding and important work and the right people assisting you as you walk your path can make all the difference. I’d love to walk with you as you lead us along that path. I have availability for coaching sessions in the afternoon and evening on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Donna Clements - TICC, ACC – Candidate
North Carolina, USA Donna Clements, an inspirer to the core, utilizes words, both spoken and written, to inspire. Surviving and now thriving from a lifetime of familial betrayal, she also inspires others as a Trauma-Informed Life Coach through the acknowledging perspective that trauma exists. Donna and her husband reside along the Blue Ridge Escarpment of the Great Alleghenies in southwestern North Carolina. Inspired by the temperate rainforest of the Nantahala National Forest along the headwaters of the great Chattooga River, and the base of Whiteside Mountain, Donna founded her coaching model Self-Trek: A Journey of Inspiration, Discovery, and Progress. Life-evoking questions asked while meandering a mountain path, gazing from an awe-inspiring overlook, or experiencing the sheer force of roaring waterfalls, nature provides opportunities for introspection and healing which cannot otherwise be replicated. Self-Trek, an experience for the client to be seen, heard, and understood, is enriched through Donna’s life coaching skills of candor, curiosity, and compassion. Developed upon the metaphor that life is a trek through the forest, the methodology of Self-Trek addresses categories including direction and destination (compass and map), risks and opportunities (wildlife and weather), and other trekkers (relationships). Donna’s Self-Trek sessions can also occur via a Zoom session or phone call. Encompassing her GOD given gift of inspiration so that others may seek inspiration from within and without, her greatest desires are for clients to be inspired to thrive, informed through discovery, and always moving forward in the natural inclination for progress. Molly Rahman TICC
Southwest Harbour, Maine USA As a trauma-informed personal development coach, Molly is passionate about the power of opening perspectives to change our realities. Everyone desires authenticity, and the narratives that we learn and the traumas that we carry can pull us away from our authentic selves. In becoming aware of limiting beliefs, we each can open ourselves to choice: choosing how we want to be in the world. Molly is particularly passionate about the embodiment of personal health, recognizing that distress manifests itself emotionally, physically, and spiritually – sometimes in unexpected ways. Transitioning from a chronic condition to a more habitual state of health requires attention and care to all aspects of the self. Molly holds a Master of Sustainable Design and has experience in the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. She has succeeded professionally and she has failed as an entrepreneur. Through her own health journey, she has become familiar with Traditional Chinese Medicine, energy work, neuroplasticity, and somatic awareness. She recently became a mother and her family is her husband, son, and dog. Email: mollycrahman@gmail.com |
Adele McDermott TICC
Ireland Hi, my name is Adele McDermott and I’m currently living in Ireland. I am a ICU nurse and Nurse tutor. Throughout my nursing career I’ve had the honour and privilege to care for many sick folks and I have been intrigued with the human ability to show resilience in the face of great tragedy and adversity, but I’ve observed that we don’t all have the same capacity to recover from life’s challenges. This inability for some folks not to bounce back brought me to my current passion to understand human trauma experiences. I completed my Life, Business and Executive coaching certification in September 2020. Then in June 2022 I expanded on my foundational knowledge by completing the trauma-informed coaching certification with MTHS. Curiosity, deep listening to the clients experiences and a desire for post traumatic growth is currently my area of focus. I currently have a trauma informed coaching practice where my focus is on coaching folks who want to reclaim agency of their life. If you have a desire to move forward in your life with clarity, confidence and tools to overcome your past experiences, I would be honoured to partner with you on your journey. Jennifer Alwardt TICC Iowa, USA
Jen has been working in ministry for over 10 years. She has always had a heart to help hurting people and after surviving a complicated miscarriage this passion to help others not only grew, but had a direction of where to go. Jen started New Course Coaching as a means to work with individuals who were suddenly faced with the reality that the direction they were initially headed is no longer a possibility. While Jen feels a deep connection with anyone who has experienced infant loss she is driven by seeing others refusing to stay ‘stuck’ but rather determined to conquer their new course. She has been gifted opportunities to work besides survivors from many different backgrounds to walk alongside them and cheer them on as they navigate through the ups and downs of surviving a traumatic place. She and her husband lived for a time in the country of Denmark working in ministry and they plan to spend some time in Iceland in the future years doing what comes naturally, helping people. Jen enjoys life with her husband and 100lb bernedoodle. For fun there is lots of travel, coffee tasting/crafting (Jen previously was a supervisor for a coffee shop) and piano playing. Kate Brassington TICC Luxembourg
Kate is a Coaching Psychologist (Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society) and certified Trauma Informed Coach, with over 1000 logged hours of client work (accredited Professional Certified Coach with the ICF). She lives in Luxembourg, coaches in English, and works 1:1 online in any suitable time zone! Most people don’t know that what we refer to as “trauma” is in fact the natural survival responses that developed in humans through evolution. In this modern day, these responses still happen inside the body, mind, and spirit. They are not signs of illness, disease, or injury. The World Health Organisation estimated in 2016 that 70% of the world population has been exposed to at least one traumatic event or situation, yet of these only around 9% get a clinical diagnosis. That leaves a lot of people without specific injury or illness, who may still be experiencing a trauma response. Many of them seek coaching or therapy – but since trauma-informed practice is still quite rare, they can struggle to get effective help, to get unstuck, and move on in life. This is where trauma-informed coaching comes in. Having trauma responses that are unhelpful inside of you comes with a twist - this very self-protection can also create separation and isolation inside of you. And if you don’t get the right kind of support, you can at best feel frustrated and sad that you can’t seem to make progress in certain areas of life, and at worst you can develop a wide range of physical and mental illnesses and injuries. This causes stress, unhappiness, loss of effectiveness at work, difficulties in relationships, and if it goes on long enough, illnesses of the body and mind that cost organisations and health services millions. I stand against a world that sticks embarrassing labels of "mental illness" onto these natural, protective, responses. Especially when they keep you small for life. Instead, I stand for you to compassionately re-unite with the isolated and wounded-seeming parts of you. To heal and repair. As I coach, I am your Expert Companion. I help and guide you to recover, find meaning in what you've been through, and get back your energy and zest for life. Imagine being so deeply compassionate to yourself that you heal, move on, and in turn help others around you. Why? to make your life worth the effort you put into it, so you ease suffering and get the fun back! Please get in touch for an absolutely no-obligation chat (hard selling goes against everything I just talked about!). I’m trained to help you work through your options, only some of which could include working with me. I can help you consider whether therapy or other approaches may be more suitable for you. I don’t diagnose or pathologise. I do listen, hear, and see the whole of you. Email: kate@katebrassington.com Website: https://katebrassington.com/ |

Sarah Farran TICC Dubai, UAE
Sarah is a certified Trauma-Informed Coach with a focus on emotional freedom and authenticity. With a background in epidemiology and biostatistics, she has always been interested in mental health. Over the years, she has come to realize that her chronic struggle with anxiety, depression and obsessive thinking may just be a manifestation of her unprocessed developmental trauma; instead of trying to eradicate them, she saw them as gifts and embraced their wisdom to dive deeper into her healing journey. A complex trauma survivor, Sarah has waded the depths of her emotions and finds purpose in providing a safe space for her clients to do the same, so they resurface feeling more whole and authentic in how they show up in life. She believes that change only happens when we learn our story and see how it limits our perspective on life, how it keeps us small and in our place, even though we feel we are exerting a lot of effort. She also believes that we do not become anything; as we heal, we strip away the layers shielding us from our essence, and we get to tap into our inner wisdom as well as our unmet potential and creativity. Sarah partners with clients to help them become more conscious of their stories, reconnect with their inner wisdom so they can release what does not serve them and move towards becoming the utmost expression of their essence; more plainly heal from the inside out. A lover of art and words, Sarah advocates individuality, self-expression, creativity and intentional living. Her expertise provides a measure of freedom from the devastating aftereffects of trauma, while equipping survivors with the tools needed to better heal their wounds and face future challenges. Kerri’s own story began with a traumatic childhood. She is a survivor of complex PTSD. The abuse she suffered was chronic, repetitive, and on-going. She had no social support or protective factors. Kerri knows what it’s like to endure crippling adversity, to grow up in an unsafe environment, to live in constant fear, and feel truly helpless and hopeless. She knows how hard it is to move beyond the emotional upheavals and the broken family dynamics. She understands the adverse impact of toxic shame, the crippling depression, and the self-destructive coping methods one learns in order to survive. She knows the detrimental effects trauma has on learning, behavior, and health well into adulthood. Kerri has experienced firsthand the devastating impact that trauma and pervasive developmental trauma can have on a person, and the overwhelming despair it produces. She spent years redefining her pain, getting past it, building a life she loved, and along the way discovered a profound calling leading her to help others. Inspired by her own journey of healing, lessons learned, and insights gleaned from working with top coaches, advisors, therapists and physicians specializing in childhood development and trauma, Kerri became a certified professional life and trauma recovery coach and founded her own company, Kerri Coaching. Based on the teaching of Dr. Gabor Mate, Kerri has innovated proven coaching programs that help complex trauma survivors address the biological, psychological, social and spiritual aspects of healing. With 20+ years of substantial healing and resilience to build upon, Kerri remains immersed in the world of making a difference. Before becoming a coach, Julie was a client of coaching, herself. In just her first 6 months of having access to this work, she made powerful internal shifts in how she was showing up in her life, which led to her tripling her income goals at her business while cutting her work schedule in half! These shifts also generated massive opportunity for more meaningful relationships with loved ones, gracefully releasing toxic relationships and replacing them with inspiring new friendships, much needed downtime, and renewed travel adventures. Realizing how paramount her experience had been, she then made the exciting decision to enroll in Accomplishment’s Coaching’s renowned international ICF/ACTP Coaches Training Program and later Moving the Human Spirit’s enriching Trauma Informed Coaching Certification Program. After years of this work, she saw over and over that having clarity around your priorities and meeting yourself where you are is required for those systems to provide the desired results. That, along with her own trauma healing work, inspired Miranda to pivot the focus of her work towards trauma-informed coaching and no longer offer in-person organizing. Though ADHD makes prioritizing challenging in some specific ways, she’s learned through her own journey that having more clarity & peace around your authentic self and values brings deep clarity & peace around your priorities on a daily, micro level. Yet trauma from childhood can make it surprisingly hard to recognize or connect with our authentic selves. Miranda believes that when we deeply know, and are able to show love to, all parts of ourselves, we can make conscious choices from that place to create the life we really want. Miranda’s services include life coaching, virtual organizing, presenting and conducting workshops for groups, and Chinese astrology birth chart (BaZi – pillars of destiny) readings. She enjoys making music, playing board games, and being in nature with her husband, daughter, and fluffy white dog. Her credentials include: - Certified Professional Organizer® (CPO) through the Board of Certification for Professional Organizers - Trauma-Informed Certified Coach (TICC) through Moving the Human Spirit - Three Level 1 Certificates from the Institute for Challenging Disorganization: Basic ADD Issues, Chronic Disorganization, and Student Needs & Learning Styles - BFA in Advertising from Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA Website: www.mirandawise.com Instagram: www.instagram.com/miranda.m.wise/ |

Emma Maslin, TICC Bucks, United Kingdom
Emma is a financial coach and mentor in the UK and Founder of the multi-award-winning personal finance education website The Money Whisperer. Emma believes financial health and wellbeing aren't a luxury just for the wealthy; it's a basic need for all of us. The thing is, 80% of feeling good about your financial situation is in the emotional relationship you have with money, and only 20% relates to having the practical know-how around how to manage it. Crucially, very few of us have healthy beliefs around money communicated to us in our formative years, which impacts our relationship with money as adults. We still live in a world where money is a dirty subject! Childhood traumas - including the death of a parent, parental divorce, loss of a parent's job - were recurring themes that kept showing up with Emma's clients. This prompted her to train as a trauma-informed coach to serve her clients better and facilitate breaking the trans-generational patterns of unwanted money behaviors. She is passionate about empowering people to take control of their financial situation by helping them master the two symbiotic components of money; the emotional and the practical. She equips them with a deep understanding of their unique relationship with money and teaches them practical guidance and tools to effectively manage and grow their money. Emma holds the following accreditations: ● Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner ● TimeLine Therapy™ Practitioner ● Trauma-Informed Certified Coach (TICC) ● Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Practitioner ● Sacred Money Archetypes™ Coach Website: www.themoneywhisperer.co.uk |

Marisa Delizo, TICC California, USA
Marisa is a trauma-informed life coach with a mission to empower survivors of covert childhood abuse to reclaim their birthright of self-love and compassion. From her own experience with depression, suicidality, and self-healing, Marisa is passionate about mental health and inner child healing, reparenting, and inner critic/perfectionism work. She deeply understands the impact covert abuse (emotional and mental abuse) can have on one’s perceived self-esteem, self-worth, and self-talk and how these things can fuel an overachieving perfectionist mindset. As an inner dialogue coach, Marisa helps her clients shift from hyper self-criticism to an abundance of self-compassion, which becomes compassion for the external world and ripples into a sense of inner peace. In October of 2019, Marisa started an Instagram page @littlebent_notbroken with the sole purpose of helping at least one person feel seen and heard and less alone. She had no idea it would explode into the community it is today nor become the hub of her coaching business. After suffering major burnout and reconciling her relationship between her sense of worth and work, Marisa realized she COULD follow her dreams of making a positive impact in the world and decided to make a career pivot toward life coaching. She received her Trauma-Informed Coaching Certification through Moving the Human Spirit in April 2021 and is currently working toward her ACC ICF accreditation.
